Accelerating the Carbon Age through knowledge, standards, and community
The Advanced Carbons Council exists to give every participant in the advanced carbon materials sector, from mine to market, access to the expertise, data, and connections they need to succeed.
The Council publishes regular intelligence on the corporate, patent, and research developments shaping the sector, alongside market reports grounded in primary research. Materials are tested and characterised to current international standards, and production facilities are inspected in person to verify that producers can make what they claim at the capacities they declare.
All of this work rests on neutrality. Standards carry weight only when the body that sets them has nothing to sell, verification means something only when the verifier is independent, and intelligence is worth reading only when it is not marketing. The ACC holds that ground on behalf of the whole sector, so this transformative industry can grow with integrity and confidence.

Built on the foundation of The Graphene Council
The Advanced Carbons Council evolved from The Graphene Council, the world's largest professional community dedicated to graphene and related two-dimensional materials. Over more than a decade, we built a network of more than 40,000 materials scientists, engineers, executives, investors, and policymakers spanning every continent.
That community, and the knowledge, trust, and credibility accumulated within it, is the foundation on which the ACC is built. We expanded our scope to encompass the full family of advanced carbon materials because the market, the science, and our members demanded it.
Today, the ACC is the single authoritative voice for the entire advanced carbons sector.
