Recent research examines the adsorption behavior of lead and chromium using biochar impregnated with magnesium oxide (MgO). This biochar is derived from the (co)pyrolysis of rice husk and banana peel in various mass ratios. The study highlights the potential of MgO-impregnated biochar as an effective material for removing heavy metals from aqueous solutions. The findings suggest that the modification of biochar with MgO enhances its adsorption capabilities, making it a promising material for environmental remediation applications.
