First PureGRAPH production order secured with global sports shoe company
First Graphene secured its first production order with Flux Footwear to supply PureGRAPH® for their athletic shoes, enhancing durability and strength in the Graphene XT performance line.
First Graphene Limited has secured its initial production order for PureGRAPH® from Flux Footwear, a US-based company. Flux Footwear will integrate PureGRAPH® into its athletic and leisure footwear, enhancing the strength and durability of its Graphene XT performance gym shoes.
This order marks First Graphene's first production application in the sporting and athletic footwear sector, expanding on its success in work and safety footwear. PureGRAPH® will replace existing graphene models in Flux's footwear as production needs grow.
Flux Footwear, known for its Graphene-Pro™ range, uses graphene in high-wear outsole areas to improve durability, abrasion resistance, grip, and flexibility. PureGRAPH® will maintain the quality of Flux's products while supporting their global market presence.
The order with Flux builds on First Graphene's technical and commercial experience in the footwear industry, following collaborations with Steel Blue and PT Alasmas Berkat Utama. PureGRAPH® has been successfully used in work and safety footwear, enhancing abrasion resistance and durability.
This order extends First Graphene's expertise from industrial and safety footwear to the larger sporting and leisure footwear market. Although not financially material, it demonstrates the company's ability to adapt PureGRAPH® applications to new markets and customers.
The global sports shoes market is projected to exceed US$212 billion by 2035, indicating a growing demand for durable sports footwear. First Graphene's collaboration with Flux Footwear represents a strategic move to meet this demand and expand its market presence.
First Graphene's Managing Director and CEO, Michael Bell, highlighted the significance of this order as a commercial milestone, offering new revenue opportunities and reinforcing the company's market position. The agreement with Flux Footwear aligns with the rising demand for durable, high-performance footwear, emphasizing longevity and sustainability.
