Graphene Manufacturing Group Ltd. (TSXV: GMG) (OTCQX: GMGMF) has announced that its THERMAL-XR® ENHANCE coating has surpassed 30,000 hours of salt spray testing under ASTM B117-19 at an external laboratory. This milestone demonstrates the coating's durability in harsh conditions, significantly exceeding typical benchmarks for automotive and industrial coatings.
The THERMAL-XR® ENHANCE coating system, powered by GMG Graphene, enhances the conductivity of corroded heat exchange surfaces and maintains the performance of new units. By leveraging the properties of graphene, the coating improves heat transfer and offers corrosion protection, making it suitable for applications in HVAC-R systems, data centers, and industrial processes.
GMG's Managing Director and CEO, Craig Nicol, highlighted that the coating's performance in salt spray testing validates its potential in demanding environments. The coating's ability to deliver improved heat transfer under high air-flow conditions positions it as a next-generation solution for energy savings and corrosion resistance.
THERMAL-XR® ENHANCE has received various regulatory approvals, including from the Australian Industrial Chemicals Introduction Scheme, and is being commercialized globally. The company has signed distribution agreements in multiple countries and continues to expand its market presence.
