Graphano Energy completes Black Jack prospecting, seeks permit expansion

Graphano Energy Ltd. (TSXV:GEL) has completed the prospecting phase of its fall exploration program at the Black Jack graphite discovery in Québec. Laboratory assay results are expected within two to four weeks. The company is also seeking to expand its exploration permit westward and has initiated a non-brokered private placement to raise up to $900,000. These efforts aim to further explore the Black Jack and Black Pearl graphite trends. Stakeholders are closely watching for assay results and regulatory approvals.

The field team, led by St Pierre Exploration, began work on September 23, 2026, and has now concluded the prospecting phase at Black Jack, located approximately one kilometer northwest of Graphano’s Black Pearl discovery. Samples collected have been sent for graphitic carbon content analysis, with results anticipated in two to four weeks. The Black Jack discovery was initially identified in spring 2026, with grab samples showing graphitic carbon values between 12.0% Cg and 26.5% Cg, averaging 19.8% Cg. It is noted that grab samples are selective and may not reflect the average grade of the mineralized zone.

Following initial findings, Graphano has applied to Québec’s Ministère des Ressources naturelles et des Forêts to expand the exploration area westward. The company plans additional ground geophysical surveys to refine conductive targets associated with the Black Jack graphite horizon, potentially extending the prospecting area. These steps are part of a strategic approach to better define the discovery's structural and geological boundaries before more intensive exploration.

Graphano is offering up to 12,000,000 units at $0.075 per unit, each including one common share and one warrant exercisable at $0.12 per share for 36 months. The private placement aims to raise up to $900,000, with net proceeds directed towards exploration at Black Jack and Black Pearl, including geophysics and drilling, as well as general corporate purposes. Finder’s fees may be paid according to TSXV policies, and all issued securities will have a statutory hold period of four months plus one day. Completion is subject to regulatory approvals, including TSXV acceptance.
