HydroGraph adds Midland to graphene compounding network

Midland Compounding & Consulting (MCC) has been certified as a U.S. compounding partner for graphene-enhanced polymer applications following HydroGraph's (CSE: HG) technical and commercial qualification process. This certification allows MCC to support clients in integrating graphene into their products for improved performance.
Chris Surbrook, MCC's new business development manager, emphasized the company's dedication to incorporating advanced materials into practical applications. He noted that their experience with specialty compounds and carbon-based additives positions them well to assist customers in leveraging graphene for new performance characteristics.
The certification enables MCC to assist customers in achieving performance improvements, light-weighting, conductivity, and functional enhancements using graphene. Kjirstin Breure, president and CEO of HydroGraph, highlighted Midland's unique combination of formulation expertise and commercialization experience as critical for advancing graphene-enhanced materials into industrial applications.
MCC has a background in carbon materials, including fiber-reinforced and conductive systems, and has previously delivered automotive composites for clients such as Ford.
