KB-Element to Showcase Graphene for High-Strength Plastics at Nano Korea 2026

KB-Element will exhibit its non-oxidized graphene products, including graphene masterbatch pellets, at Nano Korea 2026 in Goyang, South Korea, from July 8 to 10. The company's plasma-based exfoliation process cuts production costs to roughly one-tenth of conventional methods, and its masterbatch format addresses graphene's longstanding dispersion challenges in polymer composites.

KB-Element to Showcase Graphene for High-Strength Plastics at Nano Korea 2026

KB-Element will participate in Nano Korea 2026, showcasing its range of non-oxidized graphene products, including graphene masterbatch materials, at the dedicated graphene pavilion. The event, held at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, runs from July 8 to 10.

Nano Korea, now in its 24th year, is a major nanotechnology exhibition in South Korea, featuring around 400 companies, universities, and research institutes from 20 countries. This year introduces a dedicated graphene pavilion, highlighting graphene as one of South Korea's 15 flagship ultra-innovation economic projects.

KB-Element's non-oxidized graphene is produced through an atmospheric plasma-based physical exfoliation process. This method reduces production costs to about one-tenth of traditional methods while maintaining high purity by avoiding chemical processing.

At the exhibition, KB-Element will present several products, including HPGR, a graphene powder with fewer than 10 layers; GNP, a multilayer graphene material for industrial use; graphene dispersions; and graphene-based composite materials.

The company's flagship product, graphene masterbatch, is a pellet-type composite material with graphene uniformly dispersed in a polymer matrix. This material addresses dispersion challenges and can be integrated directly into existing manufacturing processes. It enhances product stiffness and durability, making it suitable for high-strength plastic applications such as outdoor products, automotive components, and safety equipment.

KB-Element has an annual production capacity of 21 metric tons of non-oxidized graphene powder and 2,100 metric tons of graphene dispersions. The company is working towards the commercialization of graphene materials in both consumer and advanced industrial applications.
