Lyten showcases 3D graphene, high-temperature adhesives, and AI data center power solutions

Lyten showcased its 3D graphene technology and high-temperature adhesives, emphasizing their applications in AI data centers.

Lyten Incorporated, a developer of advanced materials and energy solutions, has highlighted recent advancements in its 3D Graphene filament, high-temperature structural adhesive, and power management solutions for AI data centers. These developments reflect the company's strategic positioning in aerospace, automotive, and digital infrastructure markets.

Lyten announced that Modovolo, a drone platform manufacturer, has chosen its PA1205 filament as the primary material for a modular 3D printing system aimed at aerospace and defense sectors. The 3D Graphene-enhanced filament reportedly offers approximately 100% higher X-Y tensile strength and 40% higher Z-axis tensile strength compared to carbon fiber alternatives.

Additionally, the company claims about 50% greater impact resistance than carbon fiber, alongside faster print speeds, reduced warping, and improved dimensional accuracy. Both the PA1205 filament and Modovolo’s BFP printer are manufactured in the U.S., which Lyten emphasizes as enhancing supply chain resilience for defense-grade additive manufacturing.

In the adhesives sector, Lyten introduced Adhesive 6120HT, a high-temperature epoxy designed for structural bonding in heat-intensive environments such as near engines, battery packs, and exhaust zones. This product aims to overcome the limitations of conventional epoxies that soften at elevated temperatures, utilizing Lyten’s proprietary materials for improved thermal stability.

The adhesive is positioned to support weight savings in industries like aerospace, automotive, rail, electronics, and renewables, where mass reduction and reliability are crucial. However, details on commercial adoption remain undisclosed.

Lyten also addressed the growing power demands from AI-optimized servers, referencing Gartner forecasts that global data center electricity consumption could reach 565 TWh by 2026, up from 447 TWh in 2025. Power availability is identified as a significant constraint, with AI-optimized servers projected to experience an 84% year-over-year increase in consumption.

The company is promoting its integrated power management and energy storage systems to provide rapid, dispatchable power at data centers, aiming to bridge the gap between grid supply and increasing AI workloads. Lyten's success in this area will hinge on demonstrating scalability, cost-effectiveness, and reliability compared to other energy storage and on-site generation solutions.

Overall, Lyten's recent initiatives suggest a diversified strategy across materials and energy infrastructure, with potential benefits from demand in defense, electrified transportation, and AI data center markets, contingent on broader commercial adoption of its products.
